Vancouver’s expertly curated, avant-garde Queer Arts Festival takes over the first two weeks of August, with exhibitions in constant rotation at the SUM Gallery, the Sun Wah Centre, Mountain View Cemetery, and more.

The festival explores climate catastrophe and our communities’ connections to the land. Don’t miss an Indigenous-led performance piece titled Piano Burning (Sun., Aug. 8), staged on cemetery grounds.
