Fresh from an ecstatic reception at SXSW Film Festival, Kids in the Hall: Comedy Punks is a certain highlight at this year’s Hot Docs Festival, back as hybrid event featuring in-person and online screenings. Limited tickets will be available for both formats, on sale now. Other standouts include: Calendar Girls, following an inspiring Florida dance troupe comprised of women over 60; A House Made of Splinters, a heart-wrenching look at the lives of Ukrainian children awaiting foster care placement, Nalavalny, a timely portrait of the Russian dissident; and Still Working 9 to 5, 40 years after their hit film Dolly Parton, Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda revisit workplace equality.
