Described as an “opulent” historical drama, the film is based on the true story of Black composer and violin virtuoso Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges (1745–1799) played by Kelvin Harrison Jr. The cast includes Samara Weaving, Lucy Boynton, Ronke Adekolujoe, Marton Csokas, Alex Fitzalan and Minnie Driver.
