Late jazz trumpeter and singer Louis Armstrong made audio diaries, which director Sacha Jenkins (Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men) uses — along with archival footage of his peers Dizzy Gillespie, Count Basie and Artie Shaw — to help reveal a different side of the legend. The correspondence is read by rapper Nas.
