The Build Back Better Fest Asks What’s Next?

Instead, they’re contemplating what comes after COVID-19 through radically imaginative conversations about race, climate and inequality. The organizers seem sure about one thing: the future is full of music, because they’ve booked soulful sets from ukulele queen Desirée Dawson, R&B rabble rouser Buckman Coe and more to dot their discussions.
