For music fans, this is a big big deal — it’s the reunion of Talking Heads members David Byrne, Tina Weymouth, Chris Frantz and Jerry Harrison, for a Q&A with Spike Lee, following the world premiere of the 40^th anniversary 4K restoration of the film. Byrne told People magazine in August, “I have regrets on how that was handled. I don’t think I did it in the best way, but I think it was kind of inevitable that would happen anyway. We have a cordial relationship now. We’re sort of in touch, but we don’t hang out together.” Hopefully Lee will pull out some answers including the obligatory: will there be a full-fledged reunion and tour? Stop Making Sense, a seminal concert film by the late Demme, will hit IMAX theatres Sept. 29.
