One of the world’s best film festivals returns with a jam-packed, 10-day program of in-person, drive-in and virtual screenings. With over 150 films to choose from, movie fans can visit one of TIFF’s many theatres — including Roy Thomson Hall and Scotiabank Theatre — sit under the stars at Ontario Place or watch from the comfort of home. Digital screenings have scheduled start times just like in-person events but can be viewed from anywhere in Canada. Here are some of our top picks:

One of the festival’s highly-anticipated blockbusters, Dune is the latest adaptation of the 1965 sci-fi novel detailing interstellar feuds in the distant future. Timothée Chalamet stars alongside Zendaya, Oscar Issac and Rebecca Furguson.
