The country’s leading contemporary arts festival returns to Toronto with 10 weeks of programming and work from over 40 national and international artists. Hosted across several exhibition sites (Gardiner Museum, High Park and the Museum of Contemporary Art to name a few), programs include visual pieces, performances and workshops all centred around the 2022 theme “What Water Knows, The Land Remembers.” The best way to immerse yourself is to attend one of the festival’s Storytelling Sessions for a guided art tour; they run every weekend in April at Small Arms Inspection Building, Arsenal Contemporary Art Toronto and 72 Perth.
