Why you should listen: While masterfully disruptive, Montreal’s Visibly Choked’s marvellous debut album is courageous and passionate. Singer Gabrielle Domingue’s charming roar creates a safe space within the chaotic energy. You’ll feel shaken to the core but in all the right places.
