White Noise, a comedic yet powerful theatrical meditation on privilege, Truth and Reconciliation, and internalized racism, is finally ready for its world premiere this April after being delayed by the pandemic. The Firehall Arts Centre and Savage Society are teaming up to stage the play written by the late actor, playwright, and community advocate Taran Kootenhayoo. Through exploring the interactions of two families having dinner together during Truth and Reconciliation Week, White Noise explores the vastly different experiences of different groups living in Canada with humour, subtlety and precision.
