The Whistler Film Festival is once again branching out into the virtual realm this year, which is great news for everyone who wants to see some incredible films without hitting the slopes (or driving through another B.C. extreme weather event). This year, you can access the festival’s catalog virtually for the entire month of December, plus a roster of masterclasses, networking events, and industry talks from Dec. 1 through 10. Don’t miss Poly Styrene: I Am Cliche (Dec. 3), a doc about the underrated ’80s punk icon; I Wanna Make A Movie, Or I Wanna Die Trying (Dec. 7), a short film about female friendship, self-worth and cowboy boots; and We’re All In This Together (De.c 12), an ambitious and award-winning debut about a Thunder Bay family from writer/director Katie Boland (who also double-stars in the film as twins.). All films are available from their premiers until the end of December.
